ABOUT Alison

Hi, I'm Alison, and I'm excited to welcome you to my Pilates Studio. Whether you're new or experienced with Pilates, I have a class for you. My classes are designed to cater to various fitness levels, ages, and specific needs.

My approach to teaching Pilates is rooted in a genuine passion for helping people improve their posture and well-being.

I am a fully qualified Pilates practitioner with a Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates, certified in Pilates Mat, Reformer, Barre, and Exercise for Older Adults. I am working on a Level 4 qualification in Pilates Mat Instruction with special populations courses in bone health and Pre and Post-natal.

As a teacher, I create a supportive and nurturing environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. I believe in the power of Pilates to transform not just our bodies but our overall sense of well-being. Therefore my classes are designed to help you feel better about yourself and how you manage your body, fostering physical and mental strength.

I am considerate and attentive in my instruction, ensuring that each exercise is performed safely and effectively. My goal is to empower you to understand your body better so you can use muscles independently of each other, improving your strength, flexibility and overall fitness.

In addition to regular classes, I offer personalized 1:1 and 1:2 classes, and smaller group classes for 3. The power of working in small groups allows everyone to have more attention and to increase the focus on developing specific skills. These sessions are perfect for those looking to address specific goals, recover from injuries, or simply enjoy a more intimate and customised Pilates experience.
